Dr James Moran

B.Sc (UQ), MB.BS (Griff), Dip.Ch.Health (Syd), FRACGP

James grew up on the southside of Brisbane and completed a Science degree at UQ before doing his Medicine degree at Griffith University. As a doctor, he has worked at Logan Hospital, Maters Mothers, Adults and Children’s Hospitals before embarking on GP training which took him to Adelaide for 2 years. He completed his training to be awarded his Fellowship of the RACGP. He has also completed a Diploma of Child Health from Sydney University. He enjoys all aspects of general practice.
James does not prescribe opioid and benzodiazepine medication for chronic issues. He does not prescribe stimulant medication for ADULT ADHD. (He will prescribe continuing stimulant medication for children with ADHD).
James attends to patients at St Vicent’s Bardon and Alzheimer’s QLD Rosalie nursing homes.
When he is not at work he enjoys watching replays of the Brisbane Lions 2024 AFL finals campaign, playing golf and spending time with his wife and daughter.
